Mug Revolution started off with a simple concept: To make a comfortable, durable handmade mug, period. We think that we've accomlished that, (as do many of our customers!) and have added a few new variations on our mugs over time. This page is designed to give you more information on our mugs. Sizes and Colors
Our mugs are available in two sizes, the Classic, (16 ounce) and the Regular (12 ounce) capacity. We have three colors available for you to choose from: blue, green/blue, and black. To see a size comparison photo, please click here.
The Classic
This is the mug that got us started! Roomy, with a sturdy handle, it holds over sixteen ounces of your favorite hot (or cold) beverage. Available in blue, or green/blue glazes. And, also available in a twelve ounce size. Each mug is approximately four and a half inches high, has no lead in the glazes, and is both microwave and dishwasher safe. With proper care, you will use your mug every day for many years. (My personal mug from Mug Revolution was made in 2003. I routinely have a cup or two of coffee with it each morning, heat up cold coffee in the microwave for an afternoon boost, and wash it regularly in the dishwasher. Personalized Mugs
Mug Revolution's personalized mugs are the perfect way to put a personal touch on a one-of-a-kind mug. The perfect gift for the significant other, a prized customer, a selfless volunteer for your cause, or any reason at all. The personalized mug costs an additional $2.50 per name. Mug Details
Each mug includes an attractive tag, printed both sides and folded to two inches by two inches. This tag explains that the mug is handmade, has no lead in the glazes, and is microwave and dishwasher safe.
Above left, the bottom of each mug is stamped with Mug Revolution's stamp and is signed by Oregon ceramic artist Owen Dearing. Above right, Kelty, Owen's great border collie, (all wet after trying to herd the lawn sprinkler), inspired the Dog Lover's Mug and the Paw Print mug.
